Just to show it doesn’t rain every day in Scotland……. and even when it does, it adds a dramatic twist to the scenery.

Beautiful Lochs on the west coast of Scotland and stone circles in Cumbria on the journey back down.

Returning most evenings to the same area for still waters and sunsets - some nights we were lucky and others no so much but always a picture to be taken.

And nowhere near as many midges as we expected!
