A weird thing ‘lockdown’. Normally people travel to our part of the country on the England, Wales borders to take holidays and enjoy the wonderful scenery.

During lockdown I have been fortunate enough to still carry on my normal employment but from home. This means despite being at home I have returned to my nocturnal habits of taking night scape images.

Here are four images from roughly the same location but showing fundamentally different events during lockdown. The first pre lockdown showing a sunset over Monmouth, the nightlights, comet Neowise and the lightning storms of August 2020.
